There is a new craps game called crapless craps. If a 2,3,11,or 12 is rolled it becomes your point. I have been trying to figure out the extra house edge on this cause usually spin off games are not good. I can't figure it out cause they pay true odds one these #'s. 3-1 on 3 and 11 and 6-1 on 2 and 12.
I find it hard to believe the casino would come up with a new game that did not increase house edge. What is the extra edge if any?
Thanks, Phil Rigano
Hi Phil.
The addition of the 2, 3, 11 and 12 to the point mix in crapless craps increases the house advantage significantly. Also there is no don't come or don't pass bet available. All in all, instead of a 1.4% casino edge in "regular" craps, the casino edge in crapless craps shoots up to 5.3 %!! It really is a great game - for the casino!
Good luck, Larry
